'Charlie's Place' has been lovingly designed to provide the holiday maker with a home from home.
The Cottage is centrally heated throughout and the welcoming lounge/diner has an enticing real fire for winter evenings. The kitchen is very well equipped, has a lovely view of the garden and has a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment and a washer/dryer.
Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, a double and a single, both with ample storage. The single bed has a full size wooden slide out bed too.
Views to the fields beyond the garden.
The pretty bathroom has a shower over the bath and complimentary bath and shower treats to enjoy during your stay. Bath and hand towels are provided.
The large cottage garden offers the best of the day's sun, unbroken views of the countryside beyond, and includes a barbeque and table and chairs for outdoor eating. Help yourself to fresh blackcurrants in summer and to end the day sit back and watch the breathtaking sunsets at the end of the garden from the warmth of the summerhouse!

Be amazed by the endless, uncrowded, clean, golden sandy beaches, where days can be spent building castles, enjoying picnics, paddling or dipping into the fascinating world of the rock-pools. Kite-flying, surfing and wind-surfing are just some of the activites on offer for the more adventurous. Set to the stunning back-drop of Bamburgh Castle, the beach is famous for its unique setting. We have left details at the cottage of where to find our own lesser trodden coves (but don't tell everyone!) You can have miles of sand almost to yourselves!
Nature-lovers can venture further to admire the stunning Saint Abbs clifftops or take a boat trip to the Farne Isles to watch seals, puffins and an unrivalled number of native seabirds. (A hard-hat may be a necessity in the nesting season!)
Edinburgh is only an hour away by car or there is a station in Berwick-upon-Tweed from where you can be taken right into the heart of this wonderful vibrant city.
We fell in love with Northumberland's special charm on our first holiday there 12 years ago, and are certain you will too.
